COVID 19 IMPORTANT NOTICE
Effective 1st December 2021

With the majority of our tour guests being 50+ and to assist keeping safe and for your peace-of-mind when travelling on tour with us, effective 1st December 2021, all of our tour guests MUST be fully vaccinated (2 x vaccinations) and provide us with a copy of your Ministry of Health vaccination card/letter.

The only exception is for those holding a vaccination waiver letter from their doctor confirming a medical vaccination waiver.  We have given until 1st December to implement this change, allowing time for everyone in New Zealand, no matter your region, to have time to receive a full vaccination.  

This vaccination requirement change is already in place with many airlines, tour companies, businesses and also entry to overseas countries, with the list growing longer day-by-day and no doubt will eventually become a normal requirement for all international and most domestic travel.

Designated as a bird sanctuary since the 1930s, Farewell Spit is a haven for over 90 birdlife species. Not accessible to the public, the only way to access this hidden gem is by a tour. We travel South-East of Rotorua to the Kaingaroa Plain, then onto the centre of the region to Te Urewera National Park, which encompasses Lake Waikaremoana in the southeast and reaches towards the Bay of Plenty.  Experience a wonderful Gannet Safari at Cape Kidnappers Station, to within a few metres of these remarkable birds. Travel over the Gentle Annie Route, to two high-country sheep stations, all before spending our final night in the Gumboot Capital of New Zealand. MOLESWORTH & RAINBOW STATIONS

We begin our 5-day adventure travelling south to Marlborough and onto Molesworth Station. After our stop in Hanmer Springs, we then head towards Nelson, via Rainbow Station with magnificent pristine beauty the South Island has to offer.  

 

After our overnight stay in Nelson, we visit the seaside town of Havelock to enjoy an afternoon cruise on Pelorus Sound and Kenepuru Sound, before heading to Blenheim for the night. The end of our journey sees us leaving Blenheim behind, before heading back to Picton and onto the Kapiti Region.
