Vietnam is located on the Eastern part of the Indochina peninsula, bordering China to the North, Laos and Cambodia to the West, making Vietnam an interesting & colourful mix of many cultures. A land of vast natural beauty, it's roughly the size of Italy. Mystical mountains rise to the sky, Tropical forests & jungles, spectacular rivers, mysterious caves, dramatic rock formations, pristine beaches, not forgetting the fertile Mekong Delta - all will feast the senses.
Ho Chi Minh City
Cosmopolitan Ho Chi Minh City in the South (formerly known as Saigon) is often still referred to as Saigon by many locals & it's Vietnam's largest city. HCMC offers a mix of Old & New. This vibrant growing city displays a sense of intense commotion - while mixed with the peace & tranquility of its famous pagodas. To the East lies the Mekong Delta. The Mekong stretches from Cambodia to the South China Sea, this vast network of canals and rivers, winds around a patchwork of picturesque rice fields.
Hanoi to the North is Vietnam's capital and second largest city. With a French Colonial ambiance, it carries a charm and an air of sophistication. There are lakes & beautiful parks doted all over the city. A wonderful place, to relax & enjoy the evening & the day. Like HCMC it is a fantastic place to shop. The Weekend night market of Hang Ngang & Hang Doa (two streets that link into one another) will amaze you - not only by its size but also by the prices - it's cheap. Hanoi is the home of the famous traditional Vietnamese Water Puppet Theater - a show not to be missed.
Thousands of limestone Islands dot this tranquil Bay. There is a sense of Magic as you sail through this dramatic rock formation. The Dau Go caves with its awe-inspiring stalactites and stalagmites is a must see.
Central & Coastal Vietnam
Beaches stretch all the way up the coastline & offers the country's most picturesque and uncrowded beaches. Nha Trang is well known by foreigners & locals alike. Nearby Hon Yen island is home to the famous sea swallow nests & Hoi An offers a mix of gorgeous quaint architecture & buzzing Tailor & Shoe shops. Anything can be made overnight, but our advice, as for all made to measure anywhere in the world, at least two to three fittings are a must. Mui Ne, although it has no airport, is also extremely popular for sun worshipers & kite surfers alike.
