10 Day Splendor of Egypt

Itinerary Highlights

Day 1 - CAIRO
Arrive Cairo international airport. Our Representative will be inside the Arrival Hall to help with customs procedures. Transfer to your hotel.

Day2  B/D -  CAIRO
After Breakfast your guide will outline your exciting tour of Egypt. This is followed by a tour of the Egyptian Museum (which houses over 100,000 relics) including the magnificent treasures of King Tutankhamun ( room of the Mummies not included). Next a tour of the Great Pyramids & the Sphinx - which ends at the open air Museum of Khan El Khalili. You’ll be transferred to the station at 7.00 pm for your overnight journey on a sleeper train to Aswan.

Day3 B/L/D - CAIRO & ASWAN
You’ll be met at Aswan & transferred to your Nile Cruise. Your first stop is the Phila temple, then on to High dam & the Granite quarries. This is followed by a sail on a felucca  and you'll visit Elephantine Island. A transfer back to the Nile Cruise in time for dinner. The Cruise will continue on to Kom Ombo.

Day4 B/L/D - KOM OMBO & EDFU-ESNA
Visit Kom Ombo temple of Sobek & Haroeris. Sail to Edfu & visit the temple of Edfu & then on to Esna.

Day5 B/L/D - LUXOR
Luxor, has been called the "world's greatest open-air museum, visiting East Bank, Luxor & Karnak temples dedicated to the Pharoah Amun, free time for shopping.

Day6 B/D - LUXOR & CAIRO
Visit the West Bank – the Colossi of Memnon. The Valley of the Kings & the Temple of Queen Hatshpsut. In the evening transfer to Luxor airport to take a flight back to Cairo, where you’ll be met & transferred to your hotel.

Day7 B - CAIRO & BAHARIVA OASIS
After breakfast transfer to Bahariya Oasis. Experience the old village with its charming palms groves & fruit trees. By sunset visit 'The English House' (the ruin on the hill) & enjoy the magnificent panoramic view. In the evening join the bustle of village life as you roam the colorful village and shops.

Day8 B/D - WHITE DESERT
Visit the Golden valley of mummies. You will move from the white desert to the black desert & visit the Valley of El Haize with its hot spring. Next you’ll visit Crystal Mountain & the amazing volcanic rocks in the Valley of Agabat. The desert experience is heightened by a ethnic BBQ, followed by an overnight camp in the mystical White Desert.

Day9 B - WHITE DESERT & CAIRO
After breakfast you’ll visit the hot springs, until your  transfer to Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo.

Day10 B - CAIRO
A free day for shopping & leisure until your transfer to Cairo Airport for your ongoing flight.
