Itinerary Highlights

Day 1 - Arrive Delhi
You’ll be met at the airport & transferred to the
Maidens Hotel.

Day 2 – Delhi B - After a lazy breakfast & some down time, you’ll be met by your guide to take in some of the sights around old Delhi. You - Delhi B/D will visit the bazaars of Chandni Chowk, the Jama Masjid and the Rajghat - the "samadhi" of Mahatma Gandhi. In the evening enjoy a dinner at a local Multi Cuisine Restaurant. Day 3 - Delhi - Lucknow B
After breakfast you will take a guided tour around Delhi. This will included a visit the historic Qutab Minar and Humayun's tomb. Later take a 55 minute flight to Lucknow where you’ll check in

Day 4 - Lucknow B
Today you’ll visit the Residency Complex - the site of the famous siege of 1857. Then on to a tour the Dilkusha Gardens & La Martinere. Later in the afternoon you’ll visit the monuments of Avadh Nawabs, the Imambaras & the Romi Darwaja & then on to the colorful bazaars of Lucknow to indulge in some great shopping.

Day 5 - Lucknow - Varanasi(Benares) B/D
You’ll depart Lucknow & head for the holy city of Varanasi. Enjoy the ambience of the rural countryside. Varanasi has the distinction of being one of the oldest cities in the world. Upon arrival you’ll check into the
Meraden Grand Hotel. A time to relax & unwind. Dinner at a local Multi Cuisine Restaurant.

Day 6 - Varanasi B/D
An early breakfast followed by an early morning boat ride on the incredible Ganges. Witness thousands of devotees at their morning prayers along the banks of this holy river. Next you’ll visit the Bharat Mata Temple, followed by a drive to Sarnath to the site of one of Buddha's first sermons. In the evening enjoy a cycle-rickshaw ride to the banks of the Ganges & witness the ceremonial worship or "aarti" on the riverbanks & a sunset boat ride on the magical Ganges. Dinner at a local Multi Cuisine Restaurant.

Day 7 - Varanasi - Bandhavgarh B
At lunch time you’ll board an express train for Bandhavgarh – (9hrs 45min). Situated in the Vindhya Hills, Bandhavgarh is home to a wide variety of wildlife - including the blackbuck, wild ox, sloth bear, barking deer, leopard and tiger. The avian population includes golden orioles, parakeets and hornbills.

Day 8 - Bandhavgarh B/L/D
Today it is all about nature & the jungle. You’ll be taken on a morning & also an evening safari jungle drive. You will also be introduced to the rich flora and fauna Bandhavgarh has on offer. As an added extra option, an elephant safari is also possible at your expense. Meals Full Board.

Day 9 - Bandhavgarth - Khajuraho B
After breakfast you will depart Bandhavgarth & travel to Khajuraho. Khajuraho is famous for its beautiful temples mirroring the themes of passion and sensuality.

Day 10 - Khajuraho B/D
Visit the famous Western and Eastern group of temples in the morning. The beautiful Vishvanath, Lakshmana & Chitragupta temples are a part of the Western group. They are UNESCO heritage sites. The afternoon is left free for you to indulge in some down time to spend some time at will.

Day 11 - Khajuraho - Agra B
Today you depart Khajuaho UNESCO heritage sites for Orchha, the former stronghold of the Bundela kings. Dotted with palaces and temples such as the Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal and the Chaturbhuj Temple. You will next board at Jahansi a (2hr 30hin train ride) for Agra - where you’ll check in at the
Jaypee Palace Hotel & Convension Centre

Day 12 - Agra B/D
In the morning you’ll be taken to visit the famous Taj Mahal & the grand Agra Fort. Return to your hotel for a leisurely afternoon & an overnight stay.

Day 13 - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri – Bharatpur - Jaipur B/D
Day 13 takes you to the pink city of Jaipur. En route – visit Fatehpur Sikri. There will be a stop at the world famous Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary for a rickshaw tour of the park & a lunch stop. In Jaipur you’ll check into your hotel. After check in, the time is your own. Dinner at a local Multi Cuisine Restaurant.

Day 14 - Jaipur B/D
In the morning make a grand entrance on the back of an elephant as you visit the hilltop fort of Amber. You will  also visit a small block-printing unit to admire their craft. In the afternoon you’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour around Jaipur. It includes the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the museum. Dinner at a local Multi Cuisine Restaurant.

Day 15 - Jaipur-Jodhpur B/D
After breakfast you will make your way to the blue city of Jodhpur - where you’ll check into your hotel. Explore the Mehrangarh Fort & local market. Dinner at a local Multi Cuisine Restaurant. Overnight at the Park Plaza Hotel

Day 16 - Jodhpur B
The day is your own until you are transferred to the airport for a flight to Delhi & your flight back home END OF TOUR
