8 Day Diamond of the Nile

Itinerary Highlights

Day1 - CAIRO
Arrive Cairo international airport. Our Representative will be inside the Arrivals Hall to help with customs procedures. Transfer to your hotel.

Day2 B - CAIRO
After Breakfast your guide will outline your exciting tour of Egypt. This is followed by a tour of the Egyptian Museum (which houses over 100,000 relics) including the magnificent treasures of King Tutankhamun (room of the Mummies excluded). Next a tour of the Great Pyramids & the Sphinx - which ends at the open air Museum of Khan El Khalili.

Day3 B/L/D - CAIRO - LUXOR CRUISE
After breakfast you’ll be transferred to the Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. You’ll be met at the Airport & transferred to your Nile Cruise. The Cruise will cross the Nile to the West Bank to visit the Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari and Colossi of Memnon. After that you will have free time in Luxor for shopping & in the evening you’ll enjoy a dinner onboard.

Day4 B/L/D - CRUISE to ESNA - EDFU
Today you’ll cruise to the East Bank to visit Luxor & Karnak temples. Sail through the Esna lock. The night’s entertainment is varied - there are Belly Dancing programs, a Tanora Show or Captains Cocktail /Dine & Dance. To be confirmed when on board.

Day5 B/L/D - CRUISE to KOM OMBO - ASWAN
After breakfast, visit the temple of Horus in Edfu & the temple shared by the Gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Aswan overnight.

Day6 B - ASWAN
Today you will visit the High Dam of Aswan, followed by a sail on a Felucca past Elephantine Island. In the afternoon there will be free time to enjoy the Aswan Markets.

Day7 B/D - ASWAN & CAIRO
You will be transferred to Aswan Airport for your return flight to Cairo. Dinner & overnight at Cairo hotel

Day8 B - CAIRO
A free day for shopping in Cairo, until your transfer to the Airport for your return flight home.
