Day1 - D Phnom Penh You'll be welcomed at Po Chen Tong Airport & transferred to your hotel. A time to relax & unwind.
Day2 - B/L Phom Penh Today is an invigorating day as we take in the extraordinary sites of Phom Penh. We will visit the Royal Palace complete with the Silver Pagoda, the most sacred shrine in the country. The private quarters of the Palace are now the home to the much loved royal family. We also visit the legendary temple of Wat Phnom, which provides an interesting view over the surroundings. Overnight in Phnom Penh.The sightseeing tour of Phnom Penh continues with the Royal University of Fine Arts, where the young Cambodians learn the ancient arts of their ancestors. A view of numerous children practicing the graceful movements of the beautiful national dances is impressive. The next stop on our trip is the National Museum, exclusively dedicated to Khmer art and sculpture. The majority of the exhibits are from the Angkor period from 9th to 15th centuries, but some date from as early as the 4th century. Heading out of town we visit the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious ‘Killing Fields’ of Choeung Ek, which will give us a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge. We have time this afternoon, exploring Psar Toul Tom Pong, also called the “Russian Market”, where anything and everything is for sale. Overnight in Phnom Penh. Day3 - B Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville Today we drive to Sihanoukville. The lovely beaches of Sihanoukville are some of the most unspoiled in all of South East Asia. A free day to soak up the sun, swim & take in the sights. Overnight in Sihanoukville
Day4 - B Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh In the morning visit the International Port, the Fishing Port, Independence Square & the Golden Lion. In the afternoon we check-out of the hotel & enjoy a private excursion to Kbal-Chhay Waterfall. Next we transfer back to Phnom Phnom where we overnight.
Day5 - B/D Phnom Penh - Siem Reap We take a morning flight to Siem Reap. Your are met at the airport & today is the first day to explore the most spectacular Heritage Site of the Angkors. You will visit the famous temple of Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat has been a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Finally you'll visit Bakheng Temple & enjoy a romantic sunset from Bakheng hill. Dinner & a dance Apsaras show at local restaurant. Overnight in Seam Reap.
Day6 - B/L Siem Reap Today you'll make a grand entrance as you ride an elephant from South Gate of Angkor Thom into jungle archeological area to the famous Bayon temple – it's unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, Baphoun, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at local restaurant. We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers, Pre Rup, East Mebon, Krovan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei and Ta Keo. Overnight in Seam Reap.
Day7 - B/L Siem Reap Visit Roluos Group include with Lolei, Preah Kô, Bakong - Located in the center of the first large scale Baray constructed by a Khmer King. The island temple consisting of four brick towers on a double late rite platform. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Continue to visit Eastern Mebon which used to sit in the waters of the large Oriental Baray - now it's planted out as rice-fields. According to tradition Neak Poan was a symbol of the Universe & Preah Khan, built in 1191, where the king fought his crucial battle against the Cham. Overnight in Seam Reap.
Day8 - B Tonle Sap Lake After breakfast we board on boat in Tonle Sap Lake. Here, enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, hospitals, and visit the school of the "Les Artisans d'Angkor". Afternoon free for shopping.
Day9 - B Departure There is free time for you to explore & stroll around the town & the shopping areas. Transfer to Siem Reap International airport for your flight.
